Freight Release Coordinator

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 years' experience in a fast-paced data entry or similar clerical role.
• Previous work experience in the Logistics and Transportation industry, notably in freight forwarding, is highly preferred.
• Previous experience using the ERP system, CargoWise One, is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn advanced functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, and Word.

Responsibilities:

• Review Original Bill of Ladings (BOLs), legal documents, and payments received to send release documentation and payments to vendors.
• Process 300+ documents daily in adherence to tight deadlines.
• Record charges, refunds, invoices, checks, and related reports into the ERP system, CargoWise One.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Utilize CargoWise One and Microsoft Excel to track, trace, and update the status of shipments.
• Communicate with customers, overseas offices, and vendors by email and phone with status updates on shipments.
• Address any customer inquiries related to release status, customs status, and payment verification.
• Provide customers and vendors with payment options for shipment release.

Salary:

• $22-$28/hour dependent on transferable experience and education level.
