Interior Designer – JRP Design & Remodel

Westlake Village, CA – On-site

We are seeking an Interior Designer who can contribute to and help drive residential projects with creativity and precision. The Role

As an Interior Designer, you’ll collaborate with clients, engineers, estimators, and project managers to bring residential remodels and custom homes to life. You’ll contribute to and help drive projects from concept through construction, ensuring creativity, precision, and attention to detail every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

·       Create and present conceptual designs, layouts, and 3D renderings

·       Develop construction documents, specifications, and project schedules

·       Select and source materials, finishes, and fixtures

·       Lead client presentations and manage ongoing communications

·       Conduct site visits and field measurements

·       Collaborate with project stakeholders

·       Support team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment

What We’re Looking For

·       Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred

·       5+ years of professional single-family residential design experience, particularly with luxury or high-end projects

·       Strong portfolio demonstrating residential design work, with high-end or luxury projects preferred

·       Proficiency in drafting and 3D rendering software (Chief Architect a plus)

·       Comfortable working directly with homeowners and guiding them through design decisions

·       Tech-savvy with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

·       Exceptional eye for design, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset

·       Within a reasonable commuting distance of our Westlake Village office (on-site work required)

Compensation & Benefits

·       $33.65–$52.88 per hour, depending on experience

(Equivalent to approximately $70K–$110K annually based on full-time hours)
