  • Deliver copy quickly and accurately across multiple lengths and formats (e.g., title cards, short blurbs, and ~400-word features).
  • Translate curation inputs and/or performance signals into clear editorial angles, with an informed point of view on why a title, app, or moment matters.
  • Support ongoing publishing operations by meeting deadlines and adhering to editorial standards, voice, and formatting requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure content is complete, consistent, and ready for publication.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Portfolio of published editorial writing about games, apps, or entertainment (e.g., storefront features, reviews, roundups, criticism).
  • Demonstrated fluency with games and app culture, including genres, communities, and emerging trends; ability to articulate and defend an editorial point of view.
  • Track record of shipping work on a recurring publishing calendar (e.g., weekly/daily cadence).
  • Ability to write clean, compelling copy at multiple lengths, from very short headlines to feature-length pieces (~400 words).
  • Comfort working in Figma alongside designers and maintaining copy in spreadsheets and/or a CMS.
  • Experience turning curation inputs and/or data signals into an editorial narrative or angle.
Preferred:
  • Background in VR/AR, gaming, or entertainment media.
  • Portfolio of published editorial writing about games, apps, or entertainment — storefront features, reviews, roundups, or criticism.
